Røed Solutions (org. no. 938 103 461) is the data controller for the personal data we collect through roedsolutions.no. Here we explain what data we process, why we do it, and what rights you have.

The forms

When you send us a request or an idea through the forms on this website, we store your name, your email address, your phone number (if you give it) and what you write. We only use this to reply to you and, if relevant, to give you a quote or a proposal to work together. Ideas you send us are treated as confidential.

The legal basis is that you ask us to get in touch before a possible agreement (GDPR article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries (article 6(1)(f)).

We delete enquiries once we no longer need them, and no later than 12 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer.

Who processes the data

The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., and enquiries are stored in a database with Cloudflare in the EU. Cloudflare processes the data on our behalf as a data processor, and also records technical information such as IP addresses in server logs, so the site can be run securely. To notify us by email, enquiries are for now also sent through Netlify, Inc., which is also our data processor. Both companies may process data in the USA, and the transfer is governed by their data processing agreements.

Enquiries are also forwarded to our email account with Google (Gmail). Beyond this, we don't share your data with anyone, and we never sell it.

Fonts

The website loads fonts from Google Fonts. This sends your IP address to Google so the fonts can be displayed.

Cookies

We don't use cookies, and we don't use any analytics or tracking tools.

Your rights

You have the right to access the data we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected or deleted. You can also ask us to restrict the processing, or object to it. Send an email to roedsolutions@gmail.com and we'll help you.

If you believe we process personal data in breach of the rules, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
